This RFP is being issued on by the City on behalf of Guelph Junction Railway. The GJR is seeking Proposals from Responsible Proponents that have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the Services sought. a) Guelph Junction Railway Limited is a Railway operating within Provincial Jurisdiction as a Federally Regulated entity. The sole owner of the Railway is the City. b) The Railway line extends from Guelph Junction at Campbellville to a point near the northern limit of the City of Guelph. These being mile posts 16.35 and 34.9 of the CP Goderich Subdivision, respectively. c) The Railway additionally owns auxiliary trackage: i. extending southerly from mile post 34.14 Goderich Subdivision parallel to Edinburgh Road to the interchange tracks with Canadian National Railway (CNR) and the lands, and; ii. a partial interest in the railway line, within the Guelph Industrial Park situated west of Edinburgh Road between Woodlawn Road and Speedvale Avenue in the City of Guelph. |
