Due to the potentially challenging site conditions, the City intends to pre-qualify subcontractors for the Microtunneling work on the Paisley Feedermain across the Hanlon Expressway (MTO Hwy 6). The City requires that the Microtunneling subcontractors selected to complete the work has the necessary skills experience with projects of a similar nature. When the tender for this project is released in the fall of 2018, the General Contractors will be required to carry one of the pre-qualified Microtunneling subcontractors for the microtunneling work.
