GENERAL The provisions of this RFT and the specifications and drawings are intended to govern the Fire Protection Upgrades at the West Parkade in the City of Guelph. Description of Project: 1. Standpipe Upgrades to the West Parkade including the installation of metal guards as 2. Fire alarm upgrades to the West Parkade / Quebec ST. Mall / Sleeman Centre and the networking of the upgraded panels to allow a continuous fire alarm system between the three buildings. 3. Installation of Strobes in the Sleeman Centre and West Parkade to meet the city of Guelph accessibility standards. 4. Install Voice Address system in the Sleeman Centre in addition to the required strobes. 5. Construction of two Link / Vestibules on the East parkade from the Sleeman Centre to allow the East parkade to remain without a fire alarm system allowing the continuity of the fire alarm system to end at the Sleeman Centre. |
