The Fleet Services Division of the City of Guelph is part of the Operations Department and plays a crucial role in managing the city's vehicle and equipment assets.The City of Guelph’s Fleet Services Division is looking to implement a telematics system for the entire municipal fleet (approximately 514 vehicles) to improve how it manages vehicles and equipment. This system will help track where vehicles are, how they’re being driven, and how much fuel or battery power they use. It will also connect to vehicle computers to share important maintenance information and make it easier for staff to complete and record pre-trip inspections. These features will help Fleet Services reduce costs, improve safety, and meet regulatory requirements like CVOR compliance. |
