Description: 

The City of Guelph (City) seeks proposals from experienced solution providers to supply and install a new open payment validator onboard Guelph Transit conventional and specialized transit vehicles. The payment validator will be a standalone solution that allows users to pay using an open payment method.

The City is not looking to replace their existing fare collection boxes or back-office fare collection system. However, the open payment system should have a back-office software to manage fare rules and for transaction processing.

Work is anticipated to begin upon contract award and the design and installation be completed within 6 months.
