Upgrades to the Burke Well Water Station from the prequalified General Contractors through pre-qual 17-034 and as outlined in the specifications. The work generally consists of upgrades to the Burke Water Station including a treatment building expansion to house pre-selected iron/manganese removal filters. Upgrades also include well pump replacement, chemical system, chlorine contact reservoir, two (2) new booster highlift pumps, two (2) backwash pumps, two (2) backwash wastewater pumps, electrical service and system upgrades, natural gas generator, modifications to existing well pump building, and well rehabilitation. The City will provide a single Mandatory site visit for Proponents to view site location, located at 164 Arkell Road, Guelph, which site visit will take place on March 13, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. SHARP. No other site visits will be provided. The City will reject any Bid from any Proponent that does not attend this site visit. |
