The City is seeking to pre-qualify Applicants to provide General Contracting Services for upgrades to approximately 1,700 sq.m of space in the Guelph Civic Museum including: 
a)    Phased construction to accommodate continued operation of the museum throughout the entirety of the construction period, 
b)    mechanical building upgrades to the improve humidity control within the building, through the installation of localized dehumidifiers and in-duct humidification throughout the building, 
c)    renovations to the existing reception area comprised of a new reception desk, minor ceiling and flooring modifications,
d)    some repairs to existing flooring and supporting structure,
e)    structural floor extension installed within an existing gallery, 
f)    removal and preparation for two new gallery spaces (All About Use and Gathering Gallery),
g)    management of a specialized museum exhibit fabricator-installers, and
h)    minor building renovations to accommodate mechanical and gallery upgrades.
The City is seeking Proposals from Responsible Applicants that have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the Goods and Services sought.
