Description: 

The City is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide the following services:
a)    A forest compartment and plot inventory on the Arkell spring grounds including the Carter property. The inventory will:
i.    Collect information needed for forest management planning including source water protection, silvicultural prescriptions, buckthorn management, increasing resilience, etc.; and
ii.    Form a baseline state of the forest inventory to be used in the Forest Management Plan and future planning programs.

The City is seeking Proposals from Responsible Proponents that have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the Services sought. 

Mandatory Site Visit
The City will provide a single mandatory site visit for potential Proponents to view the site location, the meeting will start at the Main Gate on Watson Rd, south of Stone Rd, just past Cooks Mill Road. (It is right across the street from Arkell Ridge Sand and Gravel Ltd and their address is:  661 Watson Rd S, Puslinch, ON.) This site visit will take place on Thursday, March 18th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. SHARP.  No other site visits will be provided.  The City will reject any Proposal from any Proponent that does not attend this site visit.  Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn for the site visit including a facemask. Please bring your own pen to sign in.
